YouTube, Vimeo and TikTok links can provide a cover image when the platform allows it. Instagram and other restricted posts need a screenshot or a clip you have permission to use. A cover check does not inspect the whole video.
Images up to 6 MB. Videos up to 100 MB and 10 minutes. Video frames are extracted on this device. The video file is never uploaded.

Pause or scrub the video to a clear, distinctive moment. Avoid title cards and blurred transitions.

- Open Google Images ↗ (choose “Search by image”) or TinEye ↗ and upload the downloaded image there.
- Open matching pages and compare the account, dates and context.
These searches happen on the provider’s site. You choose which image to share.
Matching takes place on the external search service you choose.

Why use more than one frame?
A cover image may not appear in the video. Cropping and overlaid text may hide a match. A few distinct frames give you more ways to investigate. This tool starts with three samples and lets you replace them with moments you choose; it does not analyze every frame, detect AI generation or verify clinical outcomes.
For manual investigation, download a prepared frame and choose whether to upload it to Google Lens (opens a new tab) or TinEye (opens a new tab). Their own privacy terms apply.
